Native to Brazil, this columnar cactus can grow up to 10 metres tall. Its stems can be blue or blue-green in colour, the spines are yellow or grey, and the flowers are white. Grow in a sunny position in well-draining soil, with regular watering in Summer. Keep fairly dry in Winter. This plant is suitable for a container or the open ground.
