This tall columnar cactus from South America can reach up to 1.8 metres in height and 30 cm in diameter. It has yellow flowers that bloom in Summer. It enjoys a sunny position in well-draining soil and regular watering in Summer. It should be kept dry in Winter, and is frost tolerant if dry.
