This lovely little cactus is native to Brazil and Uruguay. It grows to 8cm in height and 12 cm across, with a bright green body and large yellow flowers. It likes a part shade to full sun position in well-draining soil, with regular watering in Summer. Keep fairly dry in Winter. It is tolerant of light frost but needs to be protected from extreme heat.
