New!! Commonly known as the “thimble cactus”, this little Mammillaria from Mexico offsets readily, growing in clusters. The individual stems can be up to 13 cm in length and 3 cm in diameter. It has small creamy flowers that bloom in Spring, or in late Summer to Autumn. It is a very hardy plant which can be grown in full sun or part shade, and is both dry and light-frost tolerant. It requires a well-draining soil with moderate watering in Summer and should be kept completely dry in Winter.
Note: The offsets might detach in postage, but should grow readily when planted.
