Native to Mexico, this cactus grows as a groundcover with stems reaching up to 10 cm in length and 3 cm in diameter. The flowers can be whitish, yellowish, or pinkish in colour. A hardy plant, it prefers a sunny position with good ventilation and a well-draining soil. Water regularly in Summer and keep fairly dry in Winter.
