Commonly known as the “Brain Cactus”, this popular plant is native to Mexico. It is a slow-growing cactus with stems up to 3 cm in diameter and 10cm in length. It prefers a sunny position in well-draining soil and should be watered regularly in Summer and kept fairly dry in Winter. It is fairly frost hardy.
