Commonly known as the “Powder Puff Cactus”, this little beauty hails from Mexico. It is easy to grow and rapidly forms clumps, with the individual stems reaching about 10 cm in height and 6 cm in diameter. It is covered in white hairs, giving it the appearance of a cotton-wool ball, and it has creamy-yellow or pinkish flowers in Spring and Summer. It prefers a sunny position in well-draining soil, with regularly watering in Summer. Keep dry in Winter. It is fairly frost resistant if dry.
