A native of Mexico and the United States, this plant grows as a solitary stem to about 30 cm in height and 20 cm across. It flowers in Spring to early Summer. It requires a sunny position in well-draining soil with regular watering; allow it to dry out between waterings. Protect from extreme height and frost.
