This attractive branching columnar cactus from Peru can reach a height 1.5 metres. It has stems that can reach up to 8 cm in diameter and is characterised by its dense white hair. It is a hardy plant that is easy to grow and is very frost tolerant. It prefers a well-draining soil with plenty of sunlight, and does well in either a container or the garden. Water regularly, allowing it to dry out in between waterings.
