Native to Argentina, this multi-stemmed cactus grows up to 10 cm in height with stems to 15 cm in length. It has shallow roots and needs a well-draining soil in a sunny position with some shade in hot weather. Water regularly in Summer, allowing to dry out inbetween waterings, and keep fairly dry in Winter. This cactus does well in a container and is popular in a hanging basket.
