NEW!! A large, barrel-shaped cactus from Argentina, growing to a height of about 50 to 70 cm and a diameter of 20 to 30 cm. It usually grows as a solitary stem, but occasionally as a cluster. It has red flowers in Spring to Summer. It needs a well-draining soil and good ventilation, and is tolerant of both heat and cold. It prefers a sunny position but should be protected from the hot afternoon sun. Water well in Summer and keep dry in Winter.
