Native to Mexico, this cactus grows as a clump of thick stems up to 35 cm in height and 90 cm across. The stems are covered in white hairs and the flowers are pink to purple in colour. Grow in a sunny position with good ventilation and well-draining soil. Keep fairly dry all year round, particularly in Winter, but water in hot conditions.
