A fascinating plant from South Africa which grows to about 60cm in height and width, with grey-green leaves that grow in overlapping pairs along a single stem. It has bright red flowers in Summer, and is found growing on rocky outcrops and cliffs. It likes a light shade to full sun position in well-draining soil and is dry tolerant. Protect from frost.
