Commonly known as the ‘Monkey Tail Cactus’, this popular plant is native to Bolivia. It grows as drooping stems up to 2.5 metres long and 7 cm in diameter, and has red flowers.. It prefers a sunny position in well-draining soil and should be protected from cold. Water carefully, allowing the soil to dry out in between waterings. An excellent plant in a rockery, container, or hanging basket.
