NEW!! This tall cactus is native to the arid regions of South America. It grows as a columnar stem to about 3 metres in height and then develops branches. Slow-growing, it can reach an overall height of 5 metres, or even taller, after hundreds of years. It requires a light shade to full sun position with good air circulation in a well-draining soil. Water moderately in Summer, allowing the soil to dry out in between waterings, and keep dry in Winter. It is tolerate of light frost if completely dry. This cactus is well suited to growing in a container.
