This lovely little cactus is native to Texas and Mexico. It grows as a solitary stem up to 6 cm in height and 8 cm in diameter and is known for its large yellow and orange flowers. It prefers a light shade to sunny position in well-draining soil with occasional watering in Summer, and no watering in Winter. Allow the soil to dry out in between waterings. An excellent plant for a container!
