Copiapoa

Copiapoa is a genus of cacti native to Chile. They grow in the Atacama desert near the coast of the Pacific Ocean, in an environment with virtually no rain. They obtained moisture from sea fog. Copiapoa may be solitary or grow in dense clumps and are brownish to blue-green in colour. They have yellow flowers in Summertime.
